Easynews - great secure downloading site. Accesses all the newsgroups in a web format. Monthly subscription, been a member for 10 years

Engadget - See what new products (TV's, Camera's, O/S's, robots, ... everything) are in the pipeline or just released.

NZ equivalent to ebay. Picked up some real bargins here ... but must be a kiwi to join.

Australian branch of ebay. Has items listed here that do not appear on the main ebay site. If you belong to ebay, you are already a member of this too, but beware many traders will state the sell only within Australia. I have asked many if they will make an exception and so far everyone has said yes, so do consider that as an option
